Okay. I have been debating with an Atheist for the last few weeks. His new thing is that "General relativity" has now been proven and that this somehow proves that there is no God. I tried looking up general relativity on wikipedia and it was lots and lots of big science words that I don't understand.
So, can anyone give me a basic definition of what this even is? And also could anyone tell me how this could be used to supposidely prove that God doesn't exist?

I'm not sure what it means, but there is so much evidence that God exists, it seems rather futile to argue this point. Imagine an orange sitting on a table in front of you. Clearly you can see it, why argue with someone who is blind that wants to try and prove to you they have a general theory on why the orange not only isn't there, but doesn't even exist. How pointless would that be? But that's just me in my emotionless and logical mindset. I probably sound rather heartless right now, my apologies.

No. You are absolutely right. My focus is mainly on the many people who are watching this discussion (Since it's taking place on facebook). I haven't yet started giving proof for the Bible being true and for the existance of God. I'm trying to show that science doesn't PROVE that God doesn't exist any more than it proves that He DOES. For someone (like this guy) to make the statement that "Science has PROVEN that God CAN'T exist" is very cocky and the problem is that when someone makes this statement (as many have), they usually throw a bunch of scientific jargon at the people to overload them. The people then usually take the guys word for it because, well, he IS smart after all.
But I completely agree with you. Unless the Lord opens the eyes and hearts of any of these people, they will never see the truth. Where I am at with it right now is that I'm not sure if the Lord is leading the discussion or not.

I had a similar discussion with someone about how darkness in itself doesn't really exist. It's not like you can flood a room with darkness and make it dark, on the contrary you must remove light to make it dark. Also darkness has no measurement. LIght has lumens and such, but not darkness, it can't be measured. So anyway, this conversation on his end led into, "Well, just because you can't prove darkness by measurement, doesn't mean it doesn't exist." Which, you know me, that led me to tell this guy (who happened to be an atheist), that theory he used, is used by supposed science, to prove God's non existence. "But like you said, it doesn't mean He doesn't exist," I told him. It was pretty awesome. He didn't have anything to say after that. He just finally commented that darkness only exists in the total absence of light.
