My wife is interested in playing, but even she said that it's just too much to try to catch up and we don't have the time to invest to level to 70 and do everything that's needed to be raid ready (and she's Korean!). it's heavily gated especially with the eternal weapon upgrades. The innumerable warnings from players in the first few days about the eternal weapon quest which is now required for raiding... for example here's some of what I've already been told,So what would be great is if we had the ability to purchase the eternal weapon upgrades in the Rift store. It could even be expensive - that's fine. Time = money and the amount of time saved should warrant a decent cost. We're okay with that! And as far as "playing the game" or "booo pay to win!", there's plenty of other things that returning players would have to do to raid again. I am amazed at all the things that have been added and look forward to playing, and while the eternal quest is pretty nifty and rewarding, it's quite daunting to returning players and everyone has expressed similar sentiments.
