I don't know. I would guess that all angels have access to the throne of God because they are spirits and function in the spirit realm? But then is this true of ALL demons since they are also spiritual beings? Obviously even the spirit beings can only have access to the throne if The Lord allows them to right? Interesting question. I am assuming that your friend is referring to the fact that if anyone sees God they will die? (Exodus 33:20) so therefore how can satan see God? Maybe this verse only applies to us "Humans"?

I'm not really sure. My quick answer would be the fact that satan is not human nor was he EVER human. He has always existed as a spirit being so therefore he has access to the spirit realm, while people do not (unless God allows them like John's vision in Revelation). But again, obviously The Lord must be allowing satan access to the throne. It's not like He doesn't have the power to kick him out whenever He wants to.
